Graduate Programs in Nanotechnology at UCF Professional Science Master’s in Nanotechnology Program Overview The Professional Science Master in Nanotechnology program provides students with scientific education in nanotechnology and professional training in business and technology entrepreneurship. The Professional Science Master in Nanotechnology program prepares students with necessary skills for seeking employment in industry and academia involved in nanotechnology research, product development and commercialization. The PSM in Nanotechnology consists of a two-year, 36-credit program that covers Fall, Spring and Summer consecutive academic terms. Admissions to the program occur only in the Fall semester of each year, and students are expected to finish the degree in two years. The program of study includes a balanced course offering including interdisciplinary technical courses in the field of nanotechnology and advanced courses in business management and technology entrepreneurship. The program also includes directed research and internship training in our partnering industry and research organizations. After successfully completing the program, students will receive both a PSM degree in Nanotechnology and a Graduate Certificate in Technology Venture . This sequence of training will provide students with valuable scientific knowledge, hands-on research experiences and business management skills to work efficiently and competitively in nanotechnology-oriented businesses and entities. Scientific courses are taught by a team of interdisciplinary faculty from the UCF NanoScience Technology Center . Business management courses are taught by the faculty from the UCF College of Business Administration . The curriculum of courses is delivered via face-to-face.
